Final farewell’s & departure

The date of departure comes rushing closer, last food shopping and tidbits…. Ah and Rachaels birthday :-)

The combined birthday farewell party at Majan beach was really nice and a good reminder of what I will be missing, thanks guys and girls !!!

Departure from Muscat to Dubai is planned at 03.30h on the 12th to avoid traffic and heat and make it in time to the shipping company in Sharjah.

Dana being Dana decides at 02.10h to come along to Dubai, which was really nice as time flew by and having a good navigator in the horrific Dubai traffic was a great help! We made it in time and the booking was done not without some serious haggling as the prices are outrageous… monopolies are never healthy….

Marta Filipe and Olivia, as easy going as ever, were so nice to entertain us with a tour to the Dubai “In” cafe’s and outdoor-shopping malls before kindly offering me a last shower and bed. Great to have seen you again! And Tam thanks for the Ritz dinner, will be the last for a while !!!
